We launched a comprehensive program series with the title of “Chemical industry of the future – the future of chemical industry” in the autumn of 2007, by which we rendered it uniquely possible that children from kindergarten, primary and secondary schools could participate at a plant visit on our Company site.
Nearly 450 children visited our Company in the frame of the program, which is considered unprecedented in the relations of the Company and the town.
We planned to make children and students living in Kazincbarcika acquainted with the company’s activity thereby providing them insight into the interesting world of chemical industry. Students prior to making their career choice were informed in the frame of technical and university lectures concerning the options and trend of further studies.

Kindergarten children could playfully become familiar with our products and consumer goods produced thereof. We announced a drawing competition for kindergarten children and primary school pupils in the lower grade.
Upper grade students spent their time at our company by solving test questions and listening to lectures. They attended presentations on our environment protection, trade and opportunities in further studies and finding employment.
To close the program series, we organised a quiz program for higher grade primary and secondary school students.
Affected thereby, the young who decide to choose the chemical industry as their career path, they can also be certain to primarily find employment at BorsodChem and importantly their further development at the same time.
