System developmental actions:

Partner relations

• By the utilisation of possibilities provided by IT, the qualification method of suppliers can be monitored in a “paper saving” way assisted by Lotus Notes based database.
• Out of our suppliers and subcontractors qualified according to various aspects we select the best-performers as our partners. In 2008 we qualified 453 companies.

• We used an in-house developed database in order to handle complaints related to our purchased materials and make the relations with our suppliers more effective.
• We apply an IT-supported solution to register customer complaints and modernise the investigation process.

A multifunctional team has been established to increase the efficiency of complaints investigation. As a result of team meetings held in regular periods, we were also able to reduce investigation time.

Failure analysis and problem solving techniques were applied (8D, FMEA) in several cases in terms of investigating customer notices. The actions taken for the exposed failures have been introduced.

Objectives, programs

• Year by year we ensure considerable material investment in order to reach our mid-term quality objectives. In 2008 we targeted the implementation of 59 programs, with approximately HUF 526.5 M estimated implementation cost.

System operation

• We have been regularly evaluating our activity since 1996 based on the EFQM model. The latest self-assessment has been prepared by the application of a new approach.

• According to customer demands, further development of our management system moved in the direction of compliance with the ISO/TS 16949 standard. After becoming familiar with the requirements and the expansion of knowledge, we commenced practical implementation since 2007.

• In 2008 our Company was expanded by a new site. We have extended the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards to the operation of the Polyurethane Technical Service and Development Center built in Gödöllő. Our auditing company certified proper operation and issued the related certification.

Inspections

• At our Company we also monitor our production processes and the effects of our activity on the environment in a planned manner by means of laboratory inspections in order to minimise failures and optimise costs.

We possess NAT accreditation according to the MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the application of 216 inspection proceedings.
